About the Package
Combined Adult Autism and ADHD Assessment
Both Autism and ADHD represent differences in an individual's brain structure and functioning which carries across one's lifespan. These differences, termed as neurodiversity, flavours a person's cognition, feelings, and overall understanding of the world. People with ADHD and Autism are neurodiverse, and may navigate the world with differences in social communication, attention span, interactive patterns, levels of energy, behaviors, and sensory experiences.
At Bruce Psychology, we recognise that Autism and ADHD often coexist, and our assessments aim to provide a holistic understanding by investigating both aspects simultaneously. Our staff acknowledge that neurodiversity can present challenges in the modern world, and we also recognise that individual strengths and capabilities can coexist with these challenges. We offer gold standard assessment tools, utilised with a neuroaffirming lens. We acknowledge the potential for growth, and within our assessment recommendations, we promote the use of coping strategies and environmental adjustments that can enhance well-being for the neurodiverse individuals and their loved ones.
Please note our assessment packages do not guarantee a diagnosis of any disorder, including Autism and ADHD. However, we will provide an understanding of your cognitive strengths and areas of need, as well as provide a pathway for supports and necessary recommendations.
